Made to Order (MTO) is a production approach where products are not built until a confirmed order for products is received. This ensures that we are only ever producing what we need, by the hands of artisans & small industries. Thus, the end consumer determines the time & quantities produced.
To touch is to feel physically & sense emotionally. We live in a world where our sense of touch & time is too often numbed, negated or vilified by circumstance, convenience & misplaced consumerism. MTO is a way to slow down this response mechanism & bring into awareness the process of choice & consumption where the period between purchasing & then receiving is felt in real time – ultimately breaking through & bringing awareness to just one of the enablers of mass consumerism.

Currently The Shop Next Door orders are only available to guests with an existing booking reference number. All orders will be delivered to your suite prior to arrival.
